Skype with the Hubby

Lord thank you for Skype.  Hubby and I finally had a chance to sit down last night and Skype one another.  It was so great to see his handsome face.  It was late so we didn't stay on all night acting like it was our first date.....LOL  I just thank God for a chance to see my awesome hubby!!!

ONE WEEK.......Until Household Goods Are Delivered!!!!!!

One week from today, our household goods will be delivered between 8am and 5pm.  I am SUPER excited.  I finally get to see my stuff.  It's been three months.  THANK YOU JESUS!!!! 

I am ready to sit on our couch, kick back, and watch TV....oh and unpack....LOL  I plan to go room by room.  One box at a time.  I will have about three good weeks to get the house together before hubby returns home.  My goal is to make is super cozy and comfy for him.  My main focal points are the master bedroom and living room area. 

I will start blogging on the decor and placement of furniture.  I will take plenty of pictures.....before and after.  I also want to paint an accent wall in my bedroom, but not totally sure yet.  This is going to be sooooo  fun and it will keep me busy while hubby is away!

Thanks Thelma for giving me the idea to blog about my adventure.  I love you and I can't wait to see you all.

Day 10

Today is day 10 of my NO MEAT/NO SWEET fast. Lord thank you for bringing me thus far. Thank you for revealing things to me through fasting and prayer. Thank you most of all for giving me strength to endure this face to face time with You.

Almost To the Halfway Mark!!!

Talked with hubby on today and he's almost halfway through the class.  Woot Woot!  He is sounding much better.  He still has a lot of assignments that require a lot of his time, but he's pressing his way through.  I know with much prayer, God will continue to see him through.

**We've been able to talk a little more that the first two weeks.  It was tough, but we're able to chat or text a little more.  I just thank God for the little time that He gives us.

College for Chantel.........Woot Woot!!!

I am working on school stuff today.  I will be attending The Art Institute of Pittsburg (Online Division) majoring in Photography.  I am super excited.  It's a four year program, but it's ALL online.  Woot Woot.  Hubby transferred over his Post-911 GI benefits and we're able to live student loan free.  Thank you Jesus. 

As of right now school will start on 25 July 2011.  Due to us being in transition and trying to get settled, I may push it back to August.  That way the house is completed and hubby has returned from tech school. 

I am working with the advisors on paperwork dealing with enrollment.  It's been a process, but it's moving right along.  The staff is super helpful and communicate very well.  While in Japan we communicated through email due to the time difference. 

I've always enjoyed taking pictures.  I am ready to take it to a new level.  I want to become a freelance photographer and make the most of memories captured through my camera.  I love taking family action photo.  The traditionals are nice, but I like the walks in the park with mommy and daddy or even playing in the leaves during the fall season.  I could sit here and write all day about taking different photo.  Stay tuned because I am going to start working on a website to display my current work.

I can't wait until hubby and I start our lives as a recruiting family.  Some people say "he hasn't even graduated" but by FAITH we believe and we SHALL receive.

Samsung Infuse 4G

I love my new phone.  Hubby purchased us the new Samsung Infuse 4G from AT&T and it's pretty neat.  It's truly a SMARTPHONE.....LOL

I love the features on this phone.  I must say I am truly blessed.  Hubby always ensure things are working properly and that he teaches me how to work the phone.....even though I could read the manual....LOL
