I Dropped My Phone!!!!!!!!!!

Not My Phone
Okay, so on Wednesday, I was getting ready to workout.  I got my stuff out of my car and in the middle of grabbing my bag my phone fell face down.  Not thinking anything of it, I picked it up and plugged in my earphones.  After a successful workout, I received a phone call and that's when I noticed my phone looked like the above Iphone.  I was wondering my it felt like that against my ear.  When I looked at my phone, low and behold the screen was BUSTED!

After speaking with Sprint, they were able to overnight another Motorola Photon to me.  However, due to weather conditions, my shipment was delayed until today (Friday).  FedEx was generous enough to let me know why I haven't received my replacement.  Sprint also called to follow up as well.  So as of today my phone should arrive my 3pm.  With that being said, I have invested in an OtterBox case.

This phone costs absolutely too much to be dropped and cracked.  So I placed an online order for it and it should arrive Saturday or Monday.  Well, that was my eventful day!  Now I'm off to take some photos for a class assignment.  Happy Friday!  Blessings!

You Can't Have the Best of Both Worlds...............

This is how much sugar that's in a COKE!!!!
Okay while I was praying, God SPOKE!  He said "You can't have the best of both worlds!"  Meaning I can't eat what I want, not workout, and expect to  be fit and healthy!  Have I lost my mind?????  Look at all of that sugar!  Lord, I was drinking a class of sugar!!!!!  All of that has changed!  I can't be taking in that much sugar!  I will go into a diabetic coma!

This is something to live by.  No one can workout for you.  You have to do it yourself.  You have to EARN what you want!  There is no cheating.  I am so focused right now.  I can't continue to live the way I've been.  My health has paid for it.  And my weight is physical evidence that I have not been taking care of the temple that belongs to God!

So as the poster says the only workouts I will regret are the ones I don't do!  That's the same for YOU as well.  Stay tuned for more to come!

TWO Down........TWO More 2 Go!

Today I am starting TWO new classes.

  • PH123-Principles of Digital Photography and
  • FND115-Color Theory for Web and Multimedia.
I've received emails from my teachers and they seem pretty great to work with.  I have created a schedule for myself for both personal, home, and school.  I plan to stick with it to ensure I complete my daily tasks and not get distracted by the tv, phone, FaceBook, etc.

I just completed ENG1010 (English Composition I) and G150PH (Intro to Graphic Design) and before finals I had an A average in both classes.  My academic advisor went over my Degree Progress Audit and she feels I'm on the right track and have my schedule planned out really well.  So I am pretty excited about that.

With my next two classes, if I am able to, I plan to share my work on my blog.  A few of my classmates suggested it.  So be on the lookout for my work.  Well, it's time for me to log in and see what my next classes have in store for me.

Okay I was sitting on the couch and the doorbell rang.  I got up looked out of the peep hole and didn't see anyone.  Hubby normally just come on in.  So I ensured the door was locked and went back to watching tv.  Hubby was in Mississippi most of the day.  He had to drive to Keesler AFB, MS to take his PT test.  So the doorbell rung again this time hubby was letting me know it was him, so he came in the house put his things down and when I went to close the door there was a box sitting outside on my doorstep!!!!

Yes, it's an iMac!

Huge 27-inch display. 2,560-by-1,440 (larger than 1080p HD) screen resolution. High-end discrete 3D graphics. Two Thunderbolt ports. Supports two external displays. 802.11a/b/g/n 5GHz Wi-Fi. Wireless keyboard and mouse. No cost optional Magic Trackpad. No bloatware. Includes iLife suite and FaceTime HD. New ambient light sensor. Color calibrated display.

Hubby, purchased it for my school and business of photography.  I am so excited.  I LOVE IT!!!!!!!  It really helps in my graphic classes.  I am able to swipe the screen and view multiple pages when I am working on a composition.
I am started to build my portfolio and business plan with my sister.  She's the engineer!!!!  ;)  I will definitely keep you all updated on that.

Back View.  Pretty large screen!

I am on my way to a very excited career.  I know God has GREAT in store for me and this photography business.  Stay tuned.....there is more to come!

Oh SNAP..........

Thomas and I have our gym memberships with SNAP fitness and we LOVE the facility.  It's about 2 minutes from the house and it's open 24/7.  So if I want to go early or late, I have the pleasure of doing so.  Saturday I was on the treadmill (jogging) and noticed this gym has Directv!!!!  I had to slow down and ensure I was seeing this right LOL.  Yep, it was!  So I was not focused on my workout.  The tv really distracted me.  ;-)

The facility is so nice and well kept.  It's located in a lovely area and it's well lite at night time.  They also have things to purchase like tshirts, bags, water bottles, health snacks and drinks, etc.  I plan to purchase the white and red SNAP Fitness shirts to enhance my workout wardrobe.  ;-)

I going this evening after I finish my daily routine today.  I think I'm going to go in the evenings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  That way once I am done, I can shower and hit the bed.  ;-)  After weight training on Saturday, I'm starting to feel it.  But it's a "good" hurt.  ;-)  I was truly impressed with my will of doing push ups.  I was screaming, but I went hard!  ;-)

Well, let me officially get my day started.  TWO new classes start today!  Much love to you!

AWESOME Day................

Today was AWESOME.  Thomas and I visited a new church, St. James Baptist Church, and it was wonderful.  We caught a little of Sunday School and it took me back to our church growing up.  The pastor and 1st lady are two loving people.  We felt very welcome and right at home.

The music department is on point!  The keyboardist knew all of the "churchin'" song.  For example:  "Jesus, Oh How I Love Calling Your Name"  I know we will definitely go again.
After church, hubby and I ate dinner, played with TJ (our Yorkie-puppy), and all three of us took a nap.  I mean the dog slept longer than we did.  LOL  Then on the Sunday football.  Today was a pretty relaxing day.  I start two new classes tomorrow and so ready to get started.  I am really enjoying it.

Well, enjoy the rest of your Sunday!  Much love to you!
